My lil' Punkin!

For "Halloween" we went over to our friend's Jess & Jon's to hand out candy to kids and play board games... a classic good time if you ask me :) She just sent me this picture of Tusa from that night and I just had to blog it.
Isn't she the cutest lil' punkin'?!

Waiting, Watching, Wishing

Kyle and I are still working out at Camp Nakamun.

Thankfully NOT in a tent! We are in a cabin on-campus.

If you want to see more of the area, you can visit the camp Nakamun Website: www.campnakamun.com .

The houses are coming along, and I'm keeping myself busy at the camp... volunteering in the kitchen and housekeeping... and doing crafts on my days off. Tusa will be 7 months old on November 18th... and boy is she a hand full during her "teenaged" stage.

Since my camera broke, I just haven't been motivated to blog... but soon I'll be the proud owner of a Canon EOS 40D (Merry Christmas to me)! Then you'll be sick of all my blogging!!

Until then, we're anxiously aWAITING my camera, WATCHING Tusa grow and the winter setting in, and WISHING you a good one :)

Confessions of a tent-dwelling wife.

The news is out: We're living in a tent!
Why? Kyle is building houses for some staff at Camp Nakamun.
What am I doing with myself? Spending time with Tusa, Scrapbooking and working on my photography porfolio.
This week was our first week. I've already worn out 2 things: My New Balance Tennis shoes and my poor precious, beloved Casio Exilim. (Sorry Mom and Dad!) It isn't to say these products aren't worth your while though, both were my SECONDS of the same thing and I tend to use both tennis shoes and cameras about 10 times more than the average user in a 5 year span.

Tusa loves the outdoors. She slept without her kennel in a doggie bed in the tent with us and didn't bother us all night. We came in to the city last night and she was very happy with her hot bath, brushing, blankets, and clean house though. (So were we!)

So, we are in and out of the city... if you don't hear from me much that's why. Kyle is beginning a carpentry apprenticeship and just loving it. I am beginning a photography apprenticeship and also loving it. We've finally (After how many years of college?) found our "niches."

Settling in, again.

We're back in Canada after our crazy summer of traveling. We returned to our new home, Kyle's family here on "stateside assignment," my new puppy, and not as hot weather as Atlanta or Dakar but not TOO cold yet! Here are some shots of the past couple weeks. This is our new puppy, Tusa.A day at the farm.Mom and Dad Ibsen's anniversary. We celebrated as a family at an Indian restauraunt. My siter-in-law Kerriane's graduation party at Olive Garden.A family picture taken at a big family reunion. And, our last but not least of the wedding receptions- at Spruce Grove Alliance Church.

"Georgia on ma' mind"

We spent a month of our summer State-side visiting my family. I was so blessed to get to see family from both sides of my family, but not quite all of them yet. We'll just have to take another trip. These pictures are some of my favourite memories from while we were in Georgia.

The one where we said "I DO"

This is just a few quick shots from our wedding! It was lots of fun and we were so honoured to have our friends and family surround us with their company, love and blessings.

At long last

Finally, I managed to upload for you ONE picture!
We are having a wonderful time. It is such a blessing to be with family and friends again. =)
Sorry for the long wait between blogs.
